ENTERTAINMENT

The Iron Horse Event is pure athletic competition of the highest order, coupled with the historic and extraordinary partnership of man and horse. It takes no knowledge of horses or the intricacies of the competition to enjoy and appreciate it.
Judging of the Dressage Test is basically an evaluation of perfection of movement, obedience to the driver and rapport between horse and driver. Anyone can judge these characteristics, and the spectator's opinion often agrees with the judges. Dressage is held the first day of the competition.
The Cross-Country Marathon Test on the second day is the heart of the sport and is quite exciting -- the horse and driver head cross-country and meet challenging obstacles one after another. They virtually soar through hazards performing difficult moves in and around trees and ravines with stonewalls, fences and water to the next grueling hazard. After witnessing these examples of athletic ability you can understand the importance of trust between the horse and driver.
The Cones Course Test is the third phase of combined driving. Each competitor must drive through several sets of cones with balls set on top. The course is timed; therefore the driver must be fast as well as accurate. One ball knockdown can cost the driver from winning his or her place in the overall competition.
The Iron Horse provides an ideal venue to promote your product as well as to entertain business associates and friends in turn developing new relationships in a one of a kind setting. The Iron Horse Event and its activities offer a unique and thoroughly enjoyable occasion.
